For exotic desserts, my favorites are the Halo Halo at Alan Wong’s Pineapple Room. It is so light and fresh. Absolutely the best halo halo I have ever tasted! The second dessert is from downtown located in the Hawaii State Art Museum. They serve mini churros with a slightly spicy, Mexican chocolate dipping sauce. It goes great with a cup of their Illy coffee. For chocoate desserts, the flourless chocolate cake at Formaggio Market City is wonderful paired with a glass of Duckhorn Merlot and the molten chocolate cake at Roy’s is great. I also love the Creme Brule at Ruth’s Chris Steak House. One question I am still trying to answer: Who has the best bread pudding? Oahu Country Club or Ruth’s Chris? Who has your vote?
